Live the Life Ministries, a national leader in development and delivery of world-class relationship education, announces the opening of Live the Life-San Antonio, the Florida-based non-profit’s fifth regional office and its first operating outside the State of Florida. 

 

Live the Life-San Antonio provides opportunities to expand the reach of critically acclaimed marriage and family enrichment education programs to the State of Texas and beyond.  Presented in both faith-based and secular formats, Live the Life’s award-winning workshops are highly interactive, fun, and practical skills-based programs that help build thriving marriages and families. The new regional office will work to grow partnerships with local churches and public/private organizations with the goal of reducing the divorce rate in the San Antonio Metro Area.

Leading Live the Life-San-Antonio as its first Regional Director is Mr. Raul Benitez, a retired US Army Colonel with more than 35 years of leadership and operations management experience who has also worked in volunteer marriage ministry programs for more than 10 years.  Alongside his wife Karen Benitez, a Texas-licensed marriage and family therapist, they have developed marriage mentoring programs in local churches and facilitated marriage enrichment workshops for the military community in San Antonio, also known as “Military City, USA”.

 

A key partner for Live the Life Ministries has been the national Community Marriage Initiative (CMI). One of the pioneers of the CMI movement across the country is the San Antonio Marriage Initiative (SAMI) which has successfully created a flourishing marriage and family community of interest by synchronizing the efforts of faith-based and secular organizations working in the marriage enrichment space.  Live the Life-San Antonio will continue its strong partnership with SAMI and its member organizations to enhance the efforts to reduce divorce rates across South Texas.
