WHAT IS START SMART

Start Smart is Live the Life’s premarital education program designed to help engaged and seriously dating couples build a strong foundation before marriage.

Through engaging conversations and practical tools, couples learn how to:

• Communicate effectively

• Navigate conflict in a healthy way

• Align expectations for marriage

• Strengthen emotional connection

• Build habits that lead to long-term success

Start Smart is used by churches and communities to proactively strengthen relationships before challenges arise.

As a Start Smart mentor, you play a key role in:

ABOUT THE TRAINING

This Start Smart Mentor Training is designed to equip new mentors with everything they need to confidently lead and support engaged couples.

During this session, you will:

• Learn the Start Smart curriculum and structure

• Understand your role as a mentor

• Gain practical tools for leading conversations

• Build confidence in guiding couples through real-life topics

• Connect with others who share a passion for strengthening marriages
