Margaret has held leadership positions for numerous organizations including the Junior League, Women’s Bible Study Fellowship (BSF), 4 KIDS, and Firewall Ministries, a local after-school mentoring program. She has also served in chair positions at Charity Guild of Fort Lauderdale and First Priority South Florida. Margaret is active in her local church, First Baptist of Ft. Lauderdale, where she serves as a facilitator in Women’s Bible Study. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters Olivia and Elle, as well as traveling, reading, and boating.Scott is a third-generation south Floridian, born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is a graduate of American University in Washington, DC, where he served part-time as a Congressional Aide. Upon returning to Fort Lauderdale, Scott joined the family business, Causeway Lumber Company, founded by his grandfather in 1939. Scott followed in his father’s footsteps assuming the position of president in 1989. Scott has held leadership roles in the Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale, Broward Workshop and the Construction Association of South Florida. He is a past Chapter Chair (Florida) of YPO International and currently is a member of the Hundred Club of Broward County. Scott is also an active member of First Baptist Church of Ft. Lauderdale and is grateful to be able to participate and give back to the community through a variety of local outreach ministries including Christian Business Men’s Connection (CBMC), Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Bible Study Fellowship (BSF).
